בהרצאתה מעוררת ההשראה מספרת יעל ארד על הדרך הארוכה שעשתה להגשמת חלום הילדות שלה — להיות הטובה בעולם — ומשתפת את הקהל בקשיים, באכזבות ובכלים שבעזרתם הצליחה בספורט, אותם כלים שהפכו אותה לאשת עסקים מצליחה.

יעל ארד היא הישראלית הראשונה שזכתה במדליה אולימפית. ארד פרשה ב-1996 והיא מתמחה ביזמות ופיתוח עסקי. בנובמבר 2021 נבחרה לעמוד בראש הוועד האולימפי בישראל, ארגון הגג של הספורט הישראלי.
